Rudder Pedals

I used a fixture to lay out the rudder pedals that I got from Bob Glidden. I cut the tubes out using my compound miter saw with a metal cutting blade

Here is a pic of the Rudder Pedals installed on the upper shelf as seen from the firewall side of the plane. I cut the 3/8 nylon blocks on my saw and drilled 5/8 holes for the tubes and mounted them with AN 3 bolts.

I installed small gussets in the corners, after some folks said they had theirs break. The welding was done by the shop at work, if is good enough for an F-16 it is good enough for my KR. I am going the hang my pedals from the upper shelf as I will using manual heel breaks.
