You can see from this picture I am building a different type of fuselage from the plans.  This was started by a well known KR neter and was unable to finish it due to career plans.   This is a foam and glass fuse.  Very similar to Eduardo Barros fuse who's web site documents the process extremely well, so I will not go into it here.  www.kr2-egb.com.ar/  is his url.
You can also see from this picture that it is time for another clean up in the shop! The far wall has the KR2 plans posted, the wall behind me taking the picture has the S plans.  I call this a KR2SW Impostor, as there is literally NOTHING to plans!   Only a close resemblance.  KR stands for the designer Ken Rand, 2 for 2 seater, SW for stretched and widened.
The plans have been more of a guideline than any thing else.  The main reason for that is they are like 30 years old and there have been many improvements that have not been updated by the company selling them, as the original designer has passed away.

I am building my own gear legs.  I started on these early then set them aside as much of the work at this point is better done off of them.  I built in a 4 degree arc to better control the tire wear and to "prestress" the gear.  Much like a recurve limb in a bow has more power than a straight longbow limb.  After I know if they are designed correctly for size and strength, I will post the dimensions and method.
