Building the Wing tanks

The following pictures of my wing fuel tanks built after Mark Jones plans that can be found here the tanks should be about 12 gal US each. I bent the tanks in the sheet metal shop at work then had the base weldor weld them up.

The fuel gage will be mounted on the front of the tank and angle down to the sump.

Here I am pressure testing the tank with about 2 lbs. of air from my compressor and checking the seems with water and soap mix.
